Our stretch velour corduroy has a soft nap like velour with the wale texture of corduroy. This fabric drapes beautifully despite its weight and would lend itself well for dresses, pinafores, jumpsuits, flares and so much more! 

The wales do run horizontally which is also the direction of the greatest stretch, however, you can place your pattern pieces running the opposite direction so the pleats run vertically. As the maker, the choice is yours!
